I3D is the leading conference for real time 3D computer graphics and human interaction. 2013 marks the 27th year since the first conference. This time we will go to Orlando, Florida during March 21st-23rd (Thursday-Saturday). We invite you to submit papers across the entire range of topics in interaction, interactive 3D graphics, and games. I3D 2013 will be held at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort, Lake Buena Vista, Florida in the Orlando area. At the heart of central Florida, Orlando is considered the mecca of simulation in America, home to both the internationally recognized National Center for Simulation (NCS) and the University of Central Florida's Institute for Simulation and Training (IST). Hosting both commercial and military simulation companies, Orlando is rich with simulation technology innovation. Of course, Orlando is also internationally known for nearby beaches, Cape Canaveral, and theme parks such as Walt Disney World, SeaWorld, Universal Studios, and the Wet 'n Wild Water Park. These attractions, and the conference site proximity to Walt Disney World, offer a wonderful opportunity to combine a family vacation with VR. With the co-location of IEEE Virtual Reality 2013 (March 16th-20th) and IEEE Symposium on 3D User Interfaces 2013 (March 16th-17th), we will provide ample opportunities for cross-fertilization of ideas and technology across different synergistic communities centered around 3D graphics and virtual reality.
